I knitted this jumper from a 1970's pattern I bought for 10p. I made it from a slightly speckled wool and it took me FOREVER!
Here is my blog where you can see my knitting, knitted from patterns from the 1970's and the years leading up. I love digging out patterns from charity and antique shops and, even better, delving into my mums old collection. I am about to knit my way around Europe and am finding the idea of wool in a warmer climate quite exciting. Please contact me if you are interested in any of my 1970's glory or if you have a knitted bit of history you would like to be wearing soon.

long and warm
I started to knit this scarf to use up odd ends of wool and ended up buying more wool to finish it, I used MASSIVE needles and smiled while watching it rapidly grow, : )
Its about 15 feet long!

its a Jibber thing
One of my more recent pattern hunts I found this 1950's pattern for an early ear muff, and I just love it. Its so nice to knit and can be made in any colour combination to suit everyone.
Pompom Hat
Here is a hat knitted from a 1970's pattern with the addition of pompoms on the sides. I have these hats in different colours and sizes and can add woolly accessories for a truly individual hat.
Boob Toob
I knitted this boob tube in some of my favorite wool which forms itself into a different pattern depending on the width of your knitting and designed a little horse for the front.
I think most animals would be good on the front of ones toob.

comfy cushions
I knitted the front of this cushion and used a 70's fabric for the back. It has recently moved into my caravan and I am looking forward to cosying up to it if the nights ever get cold.
This one measures 20" square.
